“Arrived 30 mins before check in and was taken straight to our room. The lady that showed us to our room was lovely, and was very kind when my toddler chatted away to her. Room was clean and looked lovely. I liked that you could park right outside your room which was easy to unload the car. The view from the patio was endless countryside and at night it was rural enough that there was no light pollution and could see the stars. Room was well stocked with all types of teas and coffees. “The place was amazing. Two very nice, peaceful gardens, even though one was by a busy road. Part of the house dated back from, I think, pre 1066. Not 100% sure on that. But it was very old. The owner was very helpful with just about everything! Loads to look at in the place. Very higgledy piggeldy!. I loved it and would definitely stay again. 5 stars from me.”

The room was ok basic but very clean, on waking up this morning we could not get any hot water to come out of the shower not a big problem. “We had a lovely 1 night stay in the luxury suite. The suite was just as beautiful in real life as it looked like online. Doug and Kay were really friendly and helpful. There is lots to do in the area. We would recommend the Angel for dinner. We would like to return in the future.”
