“Very dated rooms & uncomfortable beds no air conditioning or fan. Breakfast only available 8.30 -9 am even though the information card in the room states 8.30-9.30, was told this is only at weekends? So why doesn’t information card state this? Two of us went for breakfast after 9 and was refused. Chef was only able to make a bacon sandwich. Coffee was thick and gloopy and undrinkable . “The Greyhound Cottage is located in an excellent place for sightseeing historical and interesting places around Suffolk and North Essex. Kay & Doug were very approachable and their attention to detail from booking in to our ordering and serving of breakfast was excellent. The Cottage was pleasantly quiet, the blackout curtains ensured a very restful sleep.”

“Bathroom very much below standard. No lock on door, towel rail disconnected, toilet hard to flush. Shower curtain annoying. Bedroom windows so old they didn’t shut. Needs net curtain for privacy. Lots of cobwebs need addressing !”
