“We loved our brief stay on beautiful Alfriston. A lovely hotel with excellent staff and a fine breakfast.”

“There was a golden wedding lunch party on the Saturday I stayed and one couple brought their dog which constantly yapped all afternoon when they left it outside in the garden. It did not make for a very relaxing afternoon reading on the terrace.”

“Registration was cursory. Certainly not rude, just “fill in your details and here’s your key.” No offer of assistance for two seniors to carry suitcases up narrow stairs. No further information offered. Room was adequate. Shower is traditional British style - in a very high narrow tub, very dangerous for seniors in my opinion. Notice in room that no outside food allowed, and may result in an additional charge. Overall good value for money, but more of a two star than a three star hotel. ”

“Very welcoming, The Wellington is a pub/hotel. So if you want a local atmosphere and your bedroom upstairs it will suit you. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Close to seafront and amenities. Parking was in the street. Very busy when arrived. Parked on sea front. 12 hours only. Picked up a ticket. (£25) So, parking could be difficult. Would I return? Absolutely.”

“My 5th time staying at Trading Boundaries. Always clean and the room has everything you could need. Grounds are lovely, especially nice to sit outside in the sun! Delicious continental breakfast and coffee in the morning. I’ll be back again soon!”
