“This is a great location to stay at if you are headed to La Union. Aureo is super close to being a 5 star review, they were just missing the little details that separate from "Good" to "Excellent". We had to ask for several items in our room that are basics (slippers, body soap, shampoo, extra towels). “Beautiful landscape with awesome swimming pool and ocean view but the property is somewhat rundown. It’s not being maintained. The hardware in my bathroom is rusty. Definitely looks old and it smelled like sewer after taking a long shower. Room is big but very dull. No character for what is advertised as 5 star hotel. Breakfast is a typical Filipino breakfast; not exciting for a hotel rated as 5 star. ”

“Not worth the money at all. Super old room, not even a refrigerator. In need of a renovation badly. I’d expect the room I was in to be $25 a night not $100 a night. The only good thing I can say is that the water was hot. The way the room looked, you’d think it wouldn’t even have hot water. And the bed was sturdy, just trying to say something positive.”
