“FANTASTIC HOTEL. The location, the service, the bar and restaurant were all truly 5 star. Woke up this morning after truly good sleep in massive room overlooking the priory and ruins. The reception staff was simply wonderful, just little things like letting us have a coffee and a croissant when we came in to drop suitcases off before check in time. Little drink tokens on the house, to be enjoyed in a truly gorgeous bar & restaurant. We loved everything and will be back 😊”

“Room was small hot on road so noisy Shower was useless small hard to use etc etc For price paid larger room with a bath ? I sometimes think Expedia guest gets the worst room in the hotel? Maybe due to the price then it discounted their paying, but I’ve seen a change recently where hotels only use large websites but like a monopoly.”

“We stayed in what Hall & Woodhouse call an "Indulgence with seaview" room. Yes, it had a fabulous view across to the Needles on the Isle of Wight. The staff were great and we always felt welcome. Our room was very clean and the bathroom was sparkling. The latter had a bath with shower combination.”

The Lodge itself where you stay needs some tlc on the outside, although the rooms themselves were good and well maintained, if a little dated. The stairs down to the room where I was weren't that great and the entrance to the steps was blocked by a car, so had to squeeze by. A great place. The golf looked good and the swimming pool was excellent although the stairs down were very slippery.”

The Bathrooms look and feel modern and have a high standard of fixtures and fittings. “The property and staff fantastic. Breakfast perfect. Great location. Doggy rooms great with outside space and table and chairs. Would recommend. The only thing I say was I thought the price of £25 per night was a bit steep. Always paid extra for dogs at hotels but never this much. Even the big hotels in the area only charge £20 per night. ?”

“Was a lovely simple property in the heart of Bournemouth, only a few minutes walk from the town or the beach. Self check in/out was seamless and they offered a decent self-service breakfast. Room was clean with plenty of amenities.”
