“Brilliant stay! Our room (family room) was lovely and spacious with lots of storage. The swimming pool was a great little pool with a toddler splash pool too, and great showers. Little sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were a nice extra, and the staff at the leisure club were very friendly. The breakfast buffet had lots of options - everything you need. Also loved how easy it was to access York on the buses.”

“This hotel was very hit and miss. It was recently refurbished but still really lacking - for example the bathroom was so tiny you could barely fit on the toilet seat without banging your knees on the sink. The bathroom door wouldn’t close. The bed was probably the most uncomfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. They also charged £15 to use their car park (though street parking right outside is free) The saving grace was that the room was very well sound proofed since our neighbor was the...
