The room was spacious but smelled old and dusty. My husband had allergies flare up and he’s allergic to mold.
Some of the staff was nice. Others were just annoyed if you asked them a question.
The pools were alright, but we preferred the beach. The beach was clean. The pools were not super clean and they need to be repaired.
Everything cost something. Some details at the casino or even at the dolphin cay were not clear. That’s why the dolphin cay was empty. The casino doesn’t give anything until the weekend. The weekdays are dead.
The food was terrible at Claudio’s and pretty much the rest of the places at the hotel. Breakfast at Ambers is not great. We ended up eating out at Bahia Mar or other surrounding places. I got a stomach bug from the food at the Atlantis. Everything is super expensive. Expect for $12 waters and by the beach there are $30 pina coladas.
Watch out for taxis. They charge whatever they want.
