The history of the building meant that the bar is tiny, but very welcoming - we spent a great evening drinking and chatting with locals. No food available on the first night, but the owners were happy to recommend and book somewhere for us to eat. Their kitchen was open the second night and the quality was excellent. “A lovely place to stay in a quiet, pretty village surrounded by lovely countryside. The staff were excellent and so friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the room was decorated to a high standard. I appreciated the fridge with cold bottles of water and fresh milk. The breakfast was substantial and tasty (I loved the vine tomatoes). I would definitely recommend The Sally to friends.”

“This was an immaculately clean and comfortable stay. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The restaurant had a good choice and the chef clearly takes pride in his food- great quality and lots of choice. The breakfast included traditional ootions but also good quality food. We loved the location and would highly recommend the Queens for an overnight or longer stay. We also brought out dog and we were all made to feel very welcome. ”
