“We have stayed at the Abbey once previously and were greeted on our arrival by 'welcome back'. Always nice to be remembered. We stayed in a different room this time which was more of an apartment with a bedroom and sitting room. Shower and toilet room was very good. The staff are very polite and cheerful. “Check-in and out were quick and friendly. The staff were busy but always pleasant and willing to help. My dinner was OK and breakfast excellent. The room was clean, my mattress a little lumpy and a fan would have been useful during the unusual heat wave. Overall I would definitely recommend the White Horse to any visitor.”
