“We were greeted by a lovely lady Sharon on reception who was very kind and helpful and helped us with our suitcases up the stairs to our room. The staff in the breakfast room were pleasant but not very well trained and at times confused. The Room was a little tired and could do with a refresher. “Lovely old building, beautifully clean and comfortable. Steve and Fiona were very welcoming and kind. Also, they cooked a mean breakfast from a varied menu. It was delicious. The only downside was the lack of parking outside The Bakehouse. It proved to be very difficult but the upside was that approx 60 yards away was a Car Park for only £3.30 for 24 hours! Highly recommend The Bakehouse if you are planning a visit to East Devon.”
