“Reception staff fairly friendly bar staff not so we waited over 10 mins for a member of staff no show so I went to reception we’re both the reception lady and the lady from the bar were just casually chatting and no apology for keeping us waiting”

“Leider können wir das Best Western Hotel in Coalbrookdale nicht empfehlen. Das Hotel wirkt insgesamt sehr in die Jahre gekommen und scheint im Laufe der Zeit mehrfach erweitert worden zu sein, wodurch die Zimmerflure sehr verwinkelt und unübersichtlich sind. Während unserer Reisezeit war es sehr heiß. Unser erstes Zimmer mit Balkon hatte keine Klimaanlage; der Balkon war zudem nicht gepflegt (es wuchsen Gräser). Auf Nachfrage erhielten wir in der folgenden Nacht netterweise ein Zimmer mit...

“Norma was absolutely wonderful, helpful and efficient. The accommodation was clean and tidy, shower was great. Breakfast was well varied and tasty. Evening meal was excellent. Bar and staff were good. Will be visiting again 😊”

“Joules and her Son were absolutely wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have been made to feel any more welcome and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was outstanding - lots of choice and super fresh and tasty. Joules’ baking was a great surprise treat, a lovely touch in our room on arrival and the Brownies later in our stay were out of this world! Our room was spotless, very comfy bed, lovely armchairs with the spectacular view over Ironbridge and the valley....

“The beautiful setting and views of the river Severn were wonderful. The staff were always extremely helpful and welcoming. The bedroom was very comfortable and clean. The breakfasts and evening meals were of very good quality. It was our first visit to Shropshire and we would certainly come back to the Riverside Inn which was perfectly situated for day trips to Shrewsbury, Ironbridge and David Austin Roses, among other places.”
