“Comfortable room, friendly staff. Had pleasant meal one night, and enjoyed cooked breakfast. Spent few hours in pub lounge, great atmosphere. Small point, we were in room 9 which was noisy at night due to extractor fan out side. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.”

“The host was very welcoming and immediately made me feel at home. Breakfast had lots of choices for different appetites. My room was lovely with a fan for the heat, plenty of tea, coffee, etc. and a powerful shower. All in all a great place to visit.”

“This place was spectacular!! We wish would could have stayed longer!! The cottage was beautifully done, the staff was so kind, and how cool to have sheep and cows right out our front door!! We highly recommend staying here and we will be back!!!”

“I would have loved to have given a 10/10 but unfortunately whilst the property is great value for a stop over and breakfast was good, there is a drainage issue, and the bathrooms in the 2 rooms we booked smelt strongly of blocked drains as did the car parking area so clearly a problem that needs to be resolved. Apart from that everything was good.”

“Good location and clean, attractive property with plenty of space - ideal for a family. It was a last minute booking so we were grateful to find it. We were absolutely warned about possible noise from the bar below and that it would go on late (and earplugs were provided) so we can't complain about this because it wasn't a surprise, but I don't think I could stay there again at a weekend.”
