“The hotel was clean and we had a warm welcome at reception. The decor is dated, but signs suggest that the carpets would be replaced soon. Walking to Arundel was possible, but hampered by the area around the hotel not being pedestrian friendly.”

Would have been better if maybe you could help yourself to juice, cereals, yogurts and pastries. Nicely cooked, well presented English breakfast although could have done with another egg! “Our stay was interrupted by a scheduled power cut over one night which was inconvenient. Alternative arrangement was provided but the low humming noise of power generators next to our rooms made sleeping challenging. Hotel took notice of our feedback.”
