“We had a very pleasant two-night stay thanks to being made to feel so welcome by our hosts, Rosie and James. Contact beforehand was great with a super demo video on how to enter the hotel. Rosie was a lovely host; her local recommendations were top-notch and truly made our trip. It happened to be very hot while we were visiting, so having a fan provided in the room was a thoughtful touch that was very much appreciated! “This property has a great location, at a reasonable price. My room was at the very top of the house, in the eves, so a sloping ceiling. It has an en suite shower room. Room was clean but could do with an update. Good coffee/tea making facilities with kettle, microwave and mini fridge, as well as lots of snacks provided.”

“Our stay was interrupted by a scheduled power cut over one night which was inconvenient. Alternative arrangement was provided but the low humming noise of power generators next to our rooms made sleeping challenging. Hotel took notice of our feedback.”

“overall the accommodation and staff were good and the grounds and location was very pleasant. However, on the Saturday evening we arrived back to the room at 8.30 pm to find in the garden a bbq, loads of people and very very loud music. We could not sleep, read or listen to the Tv and the music stopped at 11:59. Really spoiled our stay”
