“We stayed for 9 nights and had a lovely stay at Lucombe Manor. Breakfast was excellent every morning, and the hotel has plenty of character. We were lucky with the weather, and the sunshine over the building gave it a real Mediterranean feel! Our first night was disturbed by guests in the adjoining room coming and going, talking and laughing. Being an older building, you can also hear people walking past rooms at night. The manager kindly moved us the following day, which we appreciated. We...

“Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast too.”

“As always a lovely stay, with friendly staff & excellent food!”

“Really lovely place to stay, lots of nice features - honesty bar with QR code to pay, with range of products including Champagne, also similarly, drinks in room and snacks. Visually, very well designed, boutique experience. I booked late at night after cancelled ferry and was contacted by owner immediately with information re stay.”

“tipico hotel ingles pero mejor de lo que esperaba. ”

Hotel is situated on a main road so noisy even late at night with the windows open, although that didn't bother us. Had one evening meal here and one breakfast. Food was lovely although breakfast slow....

“everything was fantastic and I have to give special thanks to Prince for his kindness and helpfulness. A 10 out of 10. Breakfast was really nice.. I will definitely stay there again.”

“We had an ok stay. Overall there was a lot more good than bad. All chargers were Type 2, so if your car needs a CHAdeMO connector then you're out of luck, but they are uncommon now anyway. Charger was expensive...

“Liked everything with one exception. We had booked a superior double room. Upon arrival we were told we were being upgraded. The room was dominated by a super king size bed. There were 4 large lamps and 2 overhead bedside lamps. However no chair and no fridge. I enquired and unfortunately they did not have a spare fridge. I expected a chair and fridge in a superior room.”
