“If you value the suspension in your car then avoid the long potholed drive up to this property! On arrival it transpired the lift was not working and no-one appeared the whole weekend to investigate or repair. No idea how long it had been broken. No apology was given when we arrived. We were simply directed to the staircase to get to our room on the 2nd floor!. No idea when the skirting boards in the room was last cleaned. The shower in the room was scalding hot one minute and freezing cold...

“The room was clean. The window did not have a safety latch and was next to the single child’s bed and was not safe, so had to keep the window closed on a very hot evening. We ordered 2 steak and frites and was advised the sauce would come in a gravy boat separately. It did not and was obvious that it was spread over the meat to hide the fat on the meat I complained to the staff and was told they had changed butchers. No offer of a reduction on the meal was disappointing as it was basically fat...

El restaurante sirve comida de calidad y las raciones son enormes. Nos atendieron estupendamente. La zona es preciosa. Esta vez nuestra estancia tuvo que ser corta pero esperamos volver para disfrutar más tiempo del lugar. ”
