“Disappointing stay - room was described as 'deluxe' but was on the small side and being up in the eaves of the roof meant one of us had to duck to get in and out of bed. No turn down / refresh on day 1, no waste bin, small but basic things - especially at the price paid. Staff although friendly, were difficult to find (only available via WhatsApp ??), reception never staffed. Overall a great a shame as the hotel has a beautiful setting and grounds. We wint be returning. ”

“The Rock Inn is a beautiful, old pub, set in the stunning Somerset countryside. The huge trees surrounding the pub offered fantastic shade during the recent heat wave, keeping my room pleasantly cool. Housekeeping during my stay was not great, but, as the cost of my four night stay was so cosy effective, willing to overlook, but, would have appreciated the bin being emptied at least every other day, a fresh towel every other day & complimentary tea & long life milk being topped up. “The Royal Oak Inn is situated in a lovely area. It was easy for us to park. On arrival which was somewhat late, there was no one to look after us. I got the attention of someone in the kitchen who alerted the manager. We were given our room key and on arrival in the room I noticed that there was quite a bit of hair in the sink and some in the bathtub as well. I mentioned it to the manager and when we returned to our room after dinner, which was delicious, the hair in the sink was gone. The...
