Service was good it’s a very old building needs new paint and it would have been nice to use the slide at the “water park”. That being said the sheets and pillows were clean and so was the bathroom, breakfast was minimal but they had the waffle maker so that was a plus. No dairy free options and it was weird that the eggs were just sitting out and not refrigerated. We had a good time looking around and watching cable tv again.
The breakfast was good. Staffs were amazing. The room was spacious. But the toilet was very dirty. They cleaned after we told them. But they should have checked it before we go there.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Elevator went down. But the staff help to get my 80 yr old mom down from the 6th floor. The manager was excellent and staff. Nice job and you cannot control equipment just work with it.
The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was excellent, the pool was fun (wished the slide was open…the kids would have had a blast! Check in took a while due to booking 3 rooms and staff having to manually put the credit card on each room. Otherwise it was good. Staff did a good job of running off loitering people from the parking lot.
Looking for a party? Found it. Looking for a quiet night? Skip it.
I was given a fishbowl room: no exterior window. Instead, my room faced into the rec area, next to the billiard tables. Someone was having a great time playing pool. Children were having a great time at the water park. Low riders were having a great time next door. A bunch of men and beers were having a great time at the entrance. I did not have a great sleep.
On top of all that, lots of little things were wrong. The body soap was on the counter, not in the shower. My desk had a crack down its length. They ran out of coffee cups at breakfast.
The toilet in our room was broken and wobbled. Multiple pictures were missing from the walls and the hooks were just hanging. There was no shampoo and if you wanted or needed your room made up, you had to request it the day before. We picked out a popsicle from their store for our daughter and they were all melted and refrozen blobs. The large water slide was closed, but the pool was open and water was warm & clean. The best way to describe the entire hotel was that it appeared to be in the middle of a renovation that was never fully completed, but had just enough done to give the impression it was in good condition.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
I wish I could give more than 3 stars to this property because I do think the staff are doing the best they can. The beds were clean, the breakfast buffet was well stocked, and anytime we needed help the staff were great.
The hotel needs quite a few upgrades:
-the pool “waterpark” doesn’t have a functioning hot tub or slide, it’s just a pool (although it’s very warm which we loved).
-the furniture in the game area needs replaced as well as others around the hotel. The chair in our room was extremely dirty and needed replacing
-the paint and baseboards in the room were in desperate need of attention
-the room doors are old school insert cards instead of touch and very easy to hear everything in the hallways/neighbors
Honestly this could be a really nice hotel if a few things were attended to. Overall it met our needs but I’m not sure we would stay here again.
Check in started at 3pm, but my room wasn't ready until almost 6pm. That was only after I wanted my money back. They are understaffed, breakfast was limited, and poor customer service. The pool is the best thing about this place.
Me and my family have stayed here many times and the rooms and the service are always good.

Liked: Staff & service, room comfort
This hotel is really neat with one of the coolest pools of any hotel. The breakfast isn’t great and it can smell a little stuffy but other than that it’s great.
You get what you pay for. It appeared clean, but the bathroom fan did not work, ceiling above the shower was pealing & flaking. Lamps flickered at the slightest touch, bed was not very comfortable. But it appeared clean, smelled ok. Definitely an old building that was not kept up.
