“Our beds were very comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was very good, particularly the scrambled eggs! We would like to have had our dinner in the hotel but the menu was basic in the extreme. Burgers, burgers and more burgers. To be fair the hotel had just changed ownership two days before our stay, so hopefully the evening meals will improve.”

“My room was on the entrance floor and very quiet. I loved the bed and pillows, very confortable! There was a little space between the bed and the bathroom wall but this wasn't an inconvenience as it was just a very small part in the way to the window. The breakfast is very generous and delicious, having a lot of options, including the Scottish Breakfast. Jackie, one of the hosts, is extremely nice, she was very considerate in asking my food options and/or allergies and explained what to visit...

“Sandy and Cathy are the perfect hosts who just can’t do enough for you. They helped me find the cheapest deal, the best scotch pies and the best butcher to get all my bits to bring back home. They made me feel very welcome in their home and I even went to bingo with Cathy one day! Fantastic couple”
