The stay was amazing! Very clean and fresh room, and the location was perfect both for exploring Linlithgow and going by train to Edinburgh/Glasgow. Would definetly come again!
I wish we had spent more than one night! This was the most comfortable stay of our trip. Highly recommend!

This property was the perfect central location, with all amenities around. Train station super close and the hotel room itself was clean, had everything you could need, staff were always friendly, decent sized space!
Linen Bank has been renovated to a high standard. Fabulous, very comfortable. Jim was the perfect host, welcomed on arrival and shared info on area. Highly recommended. Close to Stirling, Glasgow & Edinburgh too.
I really enjoyed my stay here! The location eas perfect, close to transportation, shops and dining. Very safe and quiet area. The hotel was lovely. My room was beautiful, clean and spacious with all the amenities. Bathroom spotless and loved the soaps and body wash. Great shower with good water pressure. The kitchenette was great with coffee, teas and some snacks. TV great with many channels. Heat and lighting panel very nice. So many sockets everywhere a plus. The bed and linens were so nice. Had the best sleep!! Beautiful view of the palace. Easy check in and checkout. Residence very attentive to inquiries. Very helpful and kind staff. I would definitely stay her again, highly recommend !!!!
This is a beautifully restored property but it is on a cobbled street where the traffic is going past and it is worse than sleeping alongside the A1. Thankfully we only booked for one night because we got very little sleep.
Very spacious room, very clean and good facilities.
There are heavy curtains, window shutters and blinds, though light sleepers may want to bring ear plugs as traffic noise, late night revellers and the chiming clock nearby will still be heard in a room at the front. It’s an older building with character, so there’s only so much can be done to keep noise out.
The location is perfect—right in the heart of town, making it easy to explore. Our room was recently renovated, modern, and very comfortable.
What really stood out was the staff: exceptionally friendly and genuinely helpful. On Saturday morning, when we discovered that airport taxis in Linlithgow need to be booked in advance, the hotel team stepped in and quickly helped us arrange one. Their support made a big difference to our trip.
Overall, a wonderful place to stay—modern comfort, fantastic service, and an unbeatable location. Highly recommended!

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Some issues as it is new. Worst feature was automatic lights in the bathroom….not good in the night having full lights when you pop to the loo in the night. Otherwise great location and clean.
