“No hot water the first night, though they mover us to another room the second one (much smaller). Excellent breakfast, and really kind staff.”

“***”

“Suitable for a short stay but not long as space is very limited in the family room. The spare bed was a sofa bed which was very springy and you could feel the springs. Tv was problematic and didnt work. Other than the negatives mentioned- the main bed was comfy and the bathroom was in good condition.”

“Lovely welcome from the team on arrival. The room on the top floor was great, comfy bed, good sized room, fridge with fresh milk provided. Really tasty breakfast, available until 12pm which was a nice touch. Friendly place, nice bar and outside area”

“Great host, clean rooms all facilities that are required, great breakfast.”

“FANTASTO para mi nessisito. In English, I tend to look for imperfections, but I could not find a fault in my 3days stay. The setting is wonderful and the staff were ALL happy and helpful.”

“El desayuno es el típico inglés. Poco más a destacar. La carne, en la Brasserie, demasiado hecha, aunque las pidas poco hecha. El Fish & Chips sí se les da bien. Muy buen gym. La piscina interior no llegué a probarla, pero muy buena pinta. Habitaciones correctas. Si te duchas en hora punta salen 4 gotas… a las 6 sale con presión. Eso sí, solo por visitar la parte antigua, merece hospedarse allá.”

“Hotel correcto”

“Overall, very good for the night. Breakfast was excellent as well as the staff. Rooms very comfortable. Excellent value for money. ”

“The property is a bit tired. It is cheap and convenient if traveling by train but £10 parking on top of the room is pricey. Rooms at the front are quite noisy as they are single glazed and the trains start at 6am.”

“Setting is stunning. Good gorgeous and rooms really lovely and comfy. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Totally recommend a visit.”

“Habitación limpia, cama muy cómoda. Bien desayuno”

“sitio muy apartado de la ciudad. muy grande y a la vez complicada la configuración del hotel. la cama muy cómodo. ”
