“If you’re using it as a base, not a bad idea but keep in mind the place is pretty shabby, no shower available in the bathroom a bit smelly and very rundown no reinventing obviously. Put it this way there’s Spains on the chairs you sit on at dinner and there’s a layer of dust so thick it’s changed the colour of the lampshades in the dining room. A real shame as it’s a prime location.”

“Lovely and clean although noise from upstairs when staying on the ground floor was audible and seemingly unavoidable. That aside, it’s a cosy little spot that I would highly recommend as an affordable option to anyone looking to explore the Brecons. The information provided by the hosts on local amenities and things to do was thorough and very informative. All in all a solid stay.”

“With so many negative reviews regarding the size of the room, we paid extra for their bigger room. On arrival we received a friendly welcome and were shown to our room. The entrance to the rooms was having a mould problem, so an extractor had been installed and reed diffuser to mask the smell. The room itself was comfortable, clean, no damp smells which I feared on entry to the block. “Stopped 2 nights,room was tidy and clean, parking was right outside the room plenty of parking available, we were little bit early for booking in the young man on reception came out to meet us and couldn't do enough for us to settle in, Breakfast was really good plenty of choice, and I must say the pretty young lady that was on duty in the restaurant was very helpful and cooked a lovely English breakfast, sincerely hope things get better for you in the future.”
