“Hotel opened this week but was far from being ready. No WiFi and no breakfast facility. Room was on 4th floor with no elevator. No air conditioning and impossible to open the window more than a few centimeters. Cheap material and tiny bathroom. It is a real shame it is listed as 4;stars but no indication given of the real state. ”

“We had a very enjoyable stay at Strattons Hotel. The hotel was one of six I believe. We were just over the road from reception and where the restaurant is located. Very clean room which wasn’t as big as I was expecting but more than adequate for myself and my husband. I arranged for a bottle of Prosecco to be in the room for when we arrived, this was done along with a birthday card - lovely touch. Breakfast was brilliant. “Peaceful and quiet setting I stayed Mon-Fri so can't speak for the busier periods but massive grounds well maintained with extremely attentive, caring and friendly staff members including the Tudor bar staff which were very welcoming upon every visit well done. My room was clean and tidy if in need of an update such a shame because the room had such an outstanding view it could be so much more. Still I had a fantastic 5day stay thank you.”
