“Based on others' reviews, we had high expectations for the Albion Hotel, but these were comfortably exceeded. Rooms are modern and well-equipped ... we especially liked the his 'n hers showers ... and ours had a large (shared) terrace overlooking delightful sea views. The quality of food and choice of wine at dinner were both outstanding, followed by an excellent breakfast. Without exception, the staff were all extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. “The location of the hotel was perfect with views of the harbour and the lymington sea water baths are in walking distance . The hotel has free parking ,staff are friendly and helpfull. Our room was very clean and of a high standard . There was a good selection for breakfast to suit all tastes. We had a very enjoyable stay at the Mayflower hotel.”

We arrived promptly for check-in at 1500, as per guidelines, only for the receptionist to inform us that housekeeping was still working on the room. “There were two restaurants near one Greek and one Latin American we tried the latter and it was good, the Greek one was closed Monday. Staff were welcoming, small family run hotel so personal. Nice bar area. Breakfast was included (continental) but they did offer boiled eggs or bacon bap or sausage bap in the morning.”
