“Nice and quiet, walking distance to downtown. Very kind personnell.”

“Lovely quiet Victorian living and a very easy walk to get into town. The owners are delightful and really want you to have a great stay. Room was spacious and comfortable and making our own breakfast when and how we wanted it worked surprisingly well. We very much enjoyed our two nights here and the overall uniqueness of this historic home. Would definitely come back again.”

“La habitación estaba impecable, necesitábamos pasar solo una noche y esta opción fue ideal.”

“Stay was very average, we had booked for 3pax, however third bed wasn’t made up. We did this ourselves and sheets/bedding smelt musty. Room was then not serviced the next day, only 2 towels provided for 3 people, and toilet paper ran out first day. Went twice to reception to speak about this and was always locked and no one there - the feature to message motel via hotels.com app was also turned off. ”

The room was spacious, with a view over their abundant garden. Separate kitchenette area off the bedroom. Goodies included delicious grapes, plunger coffee and a good selection of teas. Lots of interesting little items throughout the room. Super comfortable bed, good quality linen. Large bathroom space. We were very tired after a...

“Nee not very comfy, breakfast ok”

“The hosts were very helpful and helped us plan the best activities for our stay and organise them. The view from our balcony and the shared lounge were fabulous. Food and refreshments were excellent. We would happily return if in New Zealand again and would recommend it as a great location and place to stay if asked. The scenery and closeness to Queen Charlotte Track were wonderful. ”
