Excellent stay!!!

Very nice place! Even though we arrived a bit late, I believe it was 8:30, we were greeted kindly at the desk and here walked to our parking spot. The sudio was excellent, clean and neat. Kitchenette had everything we needed and again was exception. There were extra towels and pillows plus an extra blanket. There is a large grocery store a short distance away. My only complaint is that we could only stay one night as we had to travel on the next day.

The door into the unit was difficult to negotiate. The single bed in the lounge needs to be rotated around as i suspect the bed is used as seating so the mattress was on an uncomfortable lean. Other wise it was a delightful stay. Thank you.

Soon after making the booking - we headed off to the Motel - but we could not get there because the Road had washed away. New Zealand was in a Red Weather Alert - and many roads were closed, power outages and tree's coming down. We tried to cancel our booking - but couldn't get any where. No one was answering the phone at the Motel - but maybe their power was off as well?

Ideal Blenheim motel

Lovely motel conveniently located for the places we wanted to visit. Staff were all friendly. We've stayed here multiple times before and will stay there in the future too.

Nice comfortable motel

The owners were welcoming and our room was exactly as advertised, comfortable and clean. The daily housekeeping let them down with minor things on a few days out of the 7 days we stayed, but nothing worth detracting from the 5* rating. A good pub and supermarket are opposite on the road.
