“I can’t comment on the staff because their check-in just requires you to use your phone number to access the building and your room but the hotel was excellent. The rooms have no outside noise so if you’re a light sleeper, it’s the perfect spot. I got into Portsmouth long before my check-in time so I parked in a nearby garage which ended up costing the same amount that the hotel charges ($40/nt). You’re a block away from all the shops and restaurants and a short walk to Badger’s Island in Maine...

“Room and view were great. Communication about how to check in was wrong and confusing. There was no previous mention that our room was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Also, Hotels.com said I would pay half the day of booking and the remaining when I checked in. My credit card was charged the 2nd half of the payment 2 days after booking. The hotel said it was their policy to change the full price 15 days before the check in date so incorrect info from Hotels.com.”

“Despite the weather, it was lovely staying at the Stage Neck Inn, in Maine. The staff is quite friendly and very helpful. The dishes were delicious as well as the buffet breakfast with view to the sea. ”

“Exceptionnel cabins, great restaurant, quiet comfortable luxury. Was disappointed by the very high amour of packaging with their food served in plastic containers if you eat by the pool and for all in room dining meals, which is truly excessive and sad to see. I also wish there was a more attractive spa services with steam bath, hot and cold plunge. ”
