“La comida”

“El estacionamiento está muy incómodo para ingresar. Además cuando entramos no había lugar y tuvimos que dejarlo en los estacionamientos públicos. El desayuno estuvo bien. Te dan un menú y hay algunas pocas cosas para agarrar estilo Buffet. Pero si buscas el English Breakfast vas a salir contento. La habitación amplia. Baño con bañera. Tener en cuenta que hay que subir por escaleras y pasar por el bar que está abajo del hotel.”

“Good central location with plenty of space in the room and excellent parking. Lightening was insufficient since bedside lights broken or no bulb. Upgrade of interior (one of the 2 rooms) would benefit the property especially for the cost charged.”

“Wasn’t disappointed, booked this as it had good reviews and all I can say is they are all true. Staff are so friendly it was lovely. Room had everything that you could need. We had a room overlooking the car park. (Plenty of free parking for residents) We could hear the road, however, we had the window open as we were very warm and it wasn’t busy overnight. “Lovely pub/restaurant with rooms in a picturesque small village. We had a great dinner and the service throughout our stay was fantastic (thank you Matthew). I wasn’t aware this was part of a chain at the time of booking but I shall be looking out for Butcombe Pubs in future.”

“Great place to stay. Spacious bedroom with a good bed and quality bedding. Radio and TV in the room plus tea and coffee making facilities plus welcome shortbread on arrival. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly. It is situated on a busy road but don’t let that put you off - see if you can get one of the quieter rooms at the back. Worth a visit and situated in a great area/countryside.”
