“In a town as old as Lunenburg, I understood that this property would be historical, but it needs some care. The carpets are so old and are worn and smelly. Our bedroom sliding window was completely broken—we could pull off the lower half but couldn't open it up. The AC was nice to have but so loud and had only high and very high speeds and was right next to the bed, so we turned it on and off all night. “The Fisherman’s Daughter is centrally located in Mahone Bay. You can walk everywhere within this quaint town. Cathy is very knowledgeable of the area and makes great suggestions to make sure that you have a good time. Our bedroom, Gulls’Nest, had a beautiful view of the bay. It was very spacious and comfortable. The washroom had an old fashioned free standing tub which made showering an interesting experience. The breakfasts were both delicious and plentiful.”
