“The Burlton Inn was excellent for our needs, being halfway home from Southampton to our home for an overnight stop. The pub itself was very attractive, and the local beer was rally good. The accomodation was fine. The rooms were in an adjacent cottage style annexe, just across the large car park. The choice of evening meals was wide, and the food was good. Breakfast was continental only, but very healthy. Would we stay there again? YES! ”

“What a cracking find! Lovely village pub, helpful and friendly staff, room was lovely - comfy, clean and spacious. Views are beautiful. Food in the restaurant was very nice. Lovely basic but tasty buffet breakfast included. Most definitely hope to come back! Shame we ran out of time to use the pool table. Highly recommend. Plenty to do locally. Use the Chirk road in to the village if you are not a fan of very narrow roads with tight bends over the mountains - though these had incredibly...
