“Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant...

“We would highly recommend The Fanny Talbot. Our room was lovely and spacious with an added bonus of a kitchenette area. Everything was clean and beautifully presented. The staff are very welcoming and the service at the restaurant was also top notch. We ate there the first night and had the set menu. Each plate was exceptional. We would definitely return.”

“The room was a bit small for 3 adults. We had limited space for placing our suitcases. The bed sheets were not white in colour which made me feel that they were not clean. Also surprised to find that we were only given small tubes of shampoo for 3 adults to use for two days at the beginning and there was no shower gel. The staff they were still waiting for delivery of the showergel. Luckily we got the shower gel on the second day. The shower cubicle was very small and the water from the shower...
