The locking of the gate at 6 was a surprise to us and it would be nice to mention it or highlight this, phoning to say we are running 30 min late we did not get an option….very stressful on that road. “These cottages are lovely and immaculately clean. The furnishings are comfortable. We only wished for another night there, this was a real place of respite to slow down in the middle of hectic travel.”

The guest house is furnished in an old fashioned style which suits the house. Our room was extremely spacious as was the bathroom.
