Had a lovely stay at the Marula guesthouse. Swellendam with it’s beautiful historic houses and buildings is a worth a visit. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden at the guesthouse.

Very nice find… beautiful stay save for no AC … ceiling fan but still extremely hot even with windows open. I am normally cold. And this room was really hot! Still a great place for sleeping and relaxing. Breakfast was definitely excellent. I’d stay again.

We hadden een aangenaam verblijf in Marula Lodge Guesthouse. Walter en zijn personeel hebben heel goed voor ons gezorgd. De accommodatie is mooi, netjes en goed gelegen om goede restaurants te bezoeken. Er wordt ontbijt aangeboden wat ook uitstekend verzorgd en compleet is.

Wir haben uns in der Marula Lodge sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir wurden herzlich vom deutschsprachigen Gastgeber empfangen, der uns zahlreiche Tipps und Informationen für unsere Weiterreise auf der Garden Route gegeben hat. Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll gepflegt mit einem schönen großen Garten inklusive Pool und Grillstelle. Die Zimmer sind sehr detailliert und liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.
