“I was really looking forward to my stay at The Candlesticks. However as soon as I entered, I began to have my doubts. The bar area, where the owner received us, looked particularly shabby and it smelt musty. It was 3pm (an hour after checking-in should have started) and the room wasn't ready. It wasn't such a big deal, but it was another warning sign. I was in a single room, which made a certain saying about a cat spring to mind. “Toooooo hot in the room. No A/C available; only an old fan moving the hot air. Difficult to breathe. Very very little room, without table and chair to work (in my case) or to seat in a place different to the bed. I ask in reception to change my room; nothing else available. They took me a table and 1 chair, so I couldn't move in the room. Weak wi-fi line ”
