“Great place to stay for 1-2 nights . Room was adequate for our stay , clean and tidy. Staff very polite and the all English breakfast was great value for money at just under £10, would certainly recommend. ”

“This is a lovely hotel. Great situation opposite the castle, so at the top of the hill! Continental breakfast of pastries, fruit, yogurt, cold meats, cheese toast. Plenty to choose from. We had a standard room which was spacious and nicely decorated. Large shower room. The plug sockets had been upgraded to include USB and phone charger sockets so you don’t need a plug. “Very nice little room with everything we needed for one night's stay. The Manager was really helpful, including giving us a lift to the wedding evening do which was really appreciated. We were also offered a free breakfast which was a great touch. Its a lovely country pub with rooms. Woukd definitely return.”
