“Right from opening the door, we were welcomed by Richard and had a comfortable cute room.. we did have twin beds but we had had a long drive from Skye with many stops so it was welcome rest. The facility had a lot of space that was available to use and many interesting books and travel magazines to use for planning and learning purposes. “The hotel is extremely dated. Note that there is a large annex, so if you are in a “garden” room, you are not staying in the castle, it is an outdated 1980s annex. The bathroom had a sink that had been broken and poorly glued back together and a very dirty fan. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and could have used a mattress topper.
