“We have stayed at the Historic Cary House for many years while visiting wine country near Placerville. It is very convenient and walkable to Main Street restaurants and to regional wineries. The hotel is clean and quiet. The front desk manager is very helpful.”

Our room was clean, mattress was firm, water pressure was good, decor was a mix of antique and new. The garden-like back courtyard area is a wonderful place to enjoy morning muffins and coffee. We will stay there again. ”

“This hotel is excellent. It’s got the charm and sophistication that you would expect from a great boutique hotel and more. We booked two rooms for four guests and it was cozy, clean and the decor was everything we’d been looking for. It’s steps from great food and an awesome bar right on the premises. The gift shop on property is amazing. I spent a lot! It was really hard not to. Enjoy the Holbrook, we will be back many times I am sure. ”
