“Gunta & the others at Beechwood lodge are so welcoming! They went out of their way to make sure we were informed, accommodated, and enjoying our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view from the window and breakfast was delicious and very filling. Was a very nice stay and we'd be more than happy to stay again if we're in the area!”

“What a wonderful stay with The Guesthouse The staff was helpful, engaging, knowledgeable and friendly Rooms were well cared for, staff willing to provide extra towels, toiletries when needed and we had everything we needed and more for an 11 day stay Kim kept us laughing and was good at suggesting food, travel and sightseeing tips! “The only thing that really upset us around iur stay was when we were using tbe hot tub and garden area a local women came around and started shihting at us in her PJs to keep the noise down. ”

“Lovely friendly people, comfortable room and great food. If you are staying in one of the attic rooms, just be aware that the shower may be hand held as there isn't room for a normal shower due to the slope of the roof. Great view of the castle though!”

“The property was very modern and well situated just outside of town in a rural area with beautiful views of the countryside, the town and the Firth of Dornoch. Very impressive accommodation in all respects.”

“Lovely location in the woods, just a short drive of the A9. Perfect to explore the north of Scotland. Close to Golspie, Dornoch and the Black Isle over the Firth. Located on the NC500. Need to go back to explore further North, Wick, Thurso and the 100 miles to John O' Groats. The breakfasts were delicious. The Terrace room was spacious and our hosts were excellent.”
