“The Royal Hotel is a convenient place to stay. The room is adequate but the Aircon didn’t work and the the shared bathrooms need an upgrade and clean. There are some opportunities for improvement.”

“Very disappointing experience. During check-in, staff requested to photocopy my bank card as part of their policy for possible damages. I was uncomfortable providing sensitive financial information. Given the risks associated with bank card information, I found this practice unacceptable and concerning from a privacy and security perspective. I could not book alternative accommodation as i was tired. Management should review this policy and provide customers with safer options.”

“For me personally, it was exactly the break I needed. The Staff special mention to Renee at check in (Bar) & Kitchen staff, they were so friendly & food service was fast. Enjoyed my lunch & dinner. The room was clean & inviting, but interior light was a bit dim. Overall I would do it all again.”
