“What a wonderful place to stay in Amed. First time visiting Amed and we will be sure to come back here. The Villas are located up in the hill, looking over beautiful ocean. Lots of stairs and steps to get to your Villa but it’s worthy for the gorgeous view. Everything about the Villa is clean and wonderful. There is Italian restaurant across the street that offers good variety of food and tons of local walking distance warungs to eat at. Beach is walking distance about less than 5 minutes...

“Upon arrival the room was not clean at all. In the bathroom there were, amongst others, a lot of hairs in the shower drain area. When you shower, a lot of water comes on the toilet. No mirrow in the room or shower. The swimming pool is a municipal swimming pool open for everybody. One 100 meter pool with warm water, so not suitable for professional swim training. “The property was immaculate, staff couldn't have been any more helpful. The room was good, breakfast excellent, and fantastic pool and garden. The owner was also very kind and helpful. This is an authentic feeling homestay where you're immersed in Balinese culture and treated like family. Highly recommended.”

“If you don't mind the glamping experience this is awesome. Very comfy beds, with power and lights. Don't let the surrounding area of the flies deter you from staying here is this did not effect my review. The location was a little hard to get to and I recommend parking the motorcycle up the hill rather than onsite. Shower and bathroom easy to access. No drinking water or other amenities really onsite so come prepared. ”

“The view is nice but the room was not clean when I arrived. The room smelled terrible when we got there and continued throughout the stay. When I asked the staff to change the bedding they only changed the blanket. Also you have to wait around 2 hours for hot water so prepare for that if you need to shower. Be warned also that the road to get to the villa is quite steep and not well paved so you need a car that is capable off-road. Our cars transmission failed when leaving and we had to order a...

“I had an absolutely amazing experience! Gorgeous property with attention to detail, so nourishing to all my senses! The village of Java cottages are delightful, the pool breathtaking, excellent yoga class, abundant lush landscape, relaxing massage, and delicious artistic menu! I appreciated permission to pause life and drop in to Bali deeper: easy from ubud for a weekend away to relax on property, write, read, create, rest!! Highly recommend also for a retreat- they have a great set up!”
