“This is a cute motel at the bottom of the dune climb. I've stayed here many times and will come back every summer. The beds are comfy. The room decor is cute. The staff is very responsive and friendly. My only complaint is the well water smell in the shower. But it does not stop me from staying here. I have stayed in most of the other motels in the area and this is my favorite one!”

“Room 1 is too noisy and too much traffic light overnight. The room had a faucet leak that couldn’t be fixed. Overall clean and functional for the price. We like to stay there but room 1 won’t be a room we recommend staying in.”

“we were looking for just a couple nights close to Sleeping Bear area to hike and bike and this location was perfect. We had a room on the upper level getting a cooler up the stairs was a challenge but not a deal breaker for sure, and BTW we are active seniors so that might not be any problem for younger people. We used the grill and had a meal outside on the deck, walked down the the beach one morning for coffee and in the evening to swim and used the kyacks. The firepit looks awesome but it...

“I called and used your app to communicate about my booking. The management company you had on file said they no longer manage. I had to make other arrangements to stay for the 3 days. They did reach out the day I was supposed to check in at 11 PM, mind you, saying they would honor my reservation. Hell, I had to book a stay somewhere else. Said they would look into getting me a refund! NOPE...no communication.”

“This place is now under private ownership. There was no one there when we arrived and we had no idea that we were knocking on the door and looking into the window of a private residence. When we contacted hotels.com for a refund they refused. It remains on the website despite being privately owned. ”
