“We travel a lot for business and stay in hotels throughout the state of Maine and this hotel was by far one of the worst we have stayed at. The hotel staff was beyond unhelpful. We got into town an hour early and asked if we could check in early - they said they would charge us an additional $50 for early check in. I have never had a hotel do that. There amenities were lacking - no microwave in the room, the only tea they offered was plain lipton. Everything was the cheapest they could get away...

I asked the front desk woman if there was another entrance to the pool because the one at the entrance had many stairs. She said no. Another traveler in the lobby told me there is one around the back. The staff member said they never took her around the property and trained her when the woman said that. “Beds are hard! Air Conditioner NOT WORKING! In fact. many other guests complained of the same issues. Parking across the street was an inconvenience. Town needs to cut into guard rails for easier access! Not able to smoke outside on balcony was ridiculous! Quite a ways away from the "boardwalk".”
