“This venue has great potential and the new owner and team obviously have an exciting vision for the future. The hostess was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the breakfast (included) was very tasty. Attention to detail in the room could have been better. Carpet needed hoovering (and replacing) the bed hadn’t been made and although this was remedied, it looked thrown together. The loo seat was a bit ‘mobile’ and there was no hot water in the shower (apparently the boiler had tripped out)....

“The room is very small and I would never stay again. Very cheap bed and mattress. I would rather stay in a hostel because you get a clean bed, clean mattress and clean sheets unlike here.”

“Great location in the countryside. Very peaceful. Facilities were good. Good pubs down the road. The host was very friendly and helpful.”

“Comfy beds. Otherwise, quite run down. Does have an almost pleasant vintage charm to it, mid-century looking fixtures in some places. Like being in Fawlty Towers, except there are no staff, and you're not quite sure if you might get murdered. Good value for money 4/5”
