“The property is dated but it is being kept immaculate. There is a restaurant on site which is very good for breakfast. The bus stops across the street and is a direct route to the harbour front.”

“I found this a great place to stay as a solo female traveller. It felt safe, and although a little warn down everything was cleaner than I expected. Having access to the pool and gym was also nice. It had tge benefits of a hostel while being able to have your own space. ”

“HI Halifax was a lovely stay in a Good Location in the city! Really great value with a clean fun aesthetic. Would certainly consider coming back or visiting their other locations Staff members were super friendly. Wish I took time to share the common areas with fellow travellers. ”

“It was a basic accommodation but breakfast was good and the facilites of the university were really good. Nice to see how is the life in a Canadian University. Good location not far from esplanade and downtown.”

“Esta perfecto el lugar solo que no dabamos con el edificio. Al pagar con expedis solo te dan la direccion de la Universidad pero es muy grande y no encontrábamos el edificio donde debíamos hospedarnos. Los controles de la tv no funcionaron. . Fuera de eso, ests muy bien, comodo y a unos 20 min del centro en.camion”

“We stayed at this property ahead of moving our son into his university dorm. It was a perfect location, easy to get everywhere and a grocery store only a 5 minute walk. There was plenty of room to store our things and we really appreciated the covered car port. The house was very clean and the owners responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some sugar packets if you like it in your coffee :)”
