Discover the best of Sandomierz on a 3‑hour private walking tour that combines the city’s most iconic landmarks with its famous Underground Tourist Route. Begin in the Old Town, where your guide introduces you to the Royal Castle, once a residence of Polish kings, and the impressive Cathedral Basilica with its richly decorated interior.

Continue to Collegium Gostomianum, one of Poland’s oldest schools, before passing through the narrow Needle’s Eye, a medieval Dominican gate. Stroll across the Market Square, surrounded by colorful townhouses and dominated by the Renaissance Town Hall. Walk along historic Opatowska Street toward the Opatowska Gate, the last preserved medieval gate in the city.

Your experience then moves below ground as you enter the Underground Tourist Route—an atmospheric network of former merchant cellars and corridors. Learn how the tunnels were used for storage, trade, and protection, and hear stories and legends connected to Sandomierz’s past.
