Hop between 3 remote, beautiful islands just off the coast of Lombok, admiring the crystal-clear waters from the beach before diving in to see scores of tropical fish. These tiny islands have a feeling of solitude combined with the beauty of the colorful coral reef.

Head out on a brightly painted jetty outrigger canoe, sailing across the blue waters to reach Gili Nanggu. Relax on the pristine white sands and lather heavily with waterproof sunscreen before diving into the ocean. Under the surface, the tropical marine world comes to life in front of you, tiny colorful fish darting close enough to touch.

Continue to the second island, Gili Sudak. This is a great opportunity to eat a meal—a small beach restaurant offers an assortment of lunch fare. Dive back into the water to check out the beautiful coral reef, being mindful to protect the reef by not touching it and not leaving any trash behind.

Before you return to your hotel, you have time to visit the last island, Gili Kedis. It's actually known as the “honeymoon island” because it's barely large enough for more than 2 people.
