Overview

The Private Tour to Fátima departs from Lisbon and after approximately 1h30 of travel, you will arrive at Fátima. This is one of the most famous Catholic Sanctuaries in the world visited by 6 million people every year. The visit begins in Aljustrel, a small village close to the Sanctuary, where you will be able to visit the houses where the 3 children who witnessed the apparitions of the Virgin Mary lived. Afterwards, you will head towards the Sanctuary, where you will have free time to visit the main buildings there, such as the Chapel of the Apparitions, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary (where Lúcia, Francisco and Jacinta are buried), the Basilica of the Holy Trinity (the largest church in the Sanctuary, with capacity for over 9,000 people) and the Museum of the Shrine of Fátima, where you can learn even more about the history of the place. After getting to know the Sanctuary and all the beauty and spirituality that surrounds it, you will head back to Lisbon (1h30 travel time).
