Imagine spending a night on the banks of the Tapajós River, smelling the aroma of fish grilling over the coals, listening to the sounds of Amazonian culture, and taking in one of the most enchanting landscapes in Brazil.
The “Piracaia do Tapajós” is an experience that connects visitors to the cultural essence of Alter do Chão through cuisine, music, folk dances, and riverside traditions that are part of the Amazonian identity.
Held on the white sandy beaches that emerge during the Amazonian summer, the experience provides a true sensory immersion in the open air. As the sunset gives way to the Amazonian night, participants watch the preparation of the traditional charcoal-grilled fish, taste regional flavors, and experience cultural performances that evoke emotions, a sense of belonging, and a connection with the territory.
More than a meal, Piracaia is an encounter with the living culture of the Tapajós, an authentic, welcoming, and unforgettable experience.
