What you can expect

See picture-perfect scenery of the Fuji/Hakone area on this day trip departing from Tokyo. Make and eat your own ramen at the Ramen Factory at Mt. Fuji, see stunning sights of Fuji at Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, and finish the day in the mountainside town of Oshino Hakkai.

Sail aboard the Hakone Pirate Ship, which offers a relaxing and beautiful view of Lake Ashi and the surrounding natural scenery. The area is known for its view of Mt. Fuji and stunning greenery/cherry blossoms.

After working up your appetite in the morning, we'll stop at the Ramen Factory at Mt. Fuji. During this hands-on cooking class, make your own ramen noodles and chashu from scratch, and assemble your own bowl of noodles before enjoying the fruits of your labor for lunch! This lesson is perfect for adults, children, and beginners. The second floor and terrace feature a great view of Fuji and the surrounding area!

Venture to Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine, a Shinto shrine founded over 1500 years ago in 705. Boasting a striking red torii gate and stunning views of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding area, this shrine is beautiful in every season as it's surrounded by a sea of flowering trees. Locals visit the shrine to pray for family happiness, safe childbirth, and to ward off evil.

Our final stop will be Oshino Hakkai.

The “hakkai” in Oshino Hakkai means “eight seas” in Japanese, referring to eight pristine ponds formed from melted snow from Fuji's Peak that filters through volcanic rock over an 80-year long process. The ponds are home to freshwater vegetation and rainbow trout! The area also boasts impressive markets selling local fruit, wine, fresh food, and souvenirs.
