What you can expect

  • We will learn about the history of Lorca through its monuments and the city's most iconic figures who have left their mark over time. We'll start at the Convent of La Merced, in the Middle Ages, and finish at the Huerto Ruano, in the contemporary era. We'll pass through the historic-artistic complex of Plaza de España, which has witnessed the transformation of the city and remains its heart to this day. We'll also learn about the Guevara Palace and its founder, Don Juan de Guevara, and see the beginnings of the Baroque period in the city of Lorca.
